I watched Naruto Shippuden, Bleach and One Piece weekly when they were airing back then. Bleach was my favorite of the 3. It's got the best OST and character designs. Fights are similar. One thing I didn't like about Bleach was the filler arcs, but at least they were better than Naruto Shippuden's random filler episodes.

Bleach has great character designs, cool fights and an awesome OST. Soul society and arrancar arcs are great but don’t watch the filler

Yes. Stop thinking about it and do it. Online search for a list of how to watch without filler. And then go back and watch filler episodes if you're into that sort of thing once it's over. It is the anime that i send people to who haven't watched anime but think they want to.

Bleach is perplexing. The first major arc was phenomenal. After that, it was mostly filler and then the second major arc was basically just an entire repeat of the first with the biggest bright spots being Ichigo's two major enemies. Fights were awesome but plot creativity became average. Then, after the final MAJOR fight with the big boss, I'd stop there until the new season airs.

I don't recommend, it got boring after the soul society arc and most of the villains were uninteresting with some expectations here and there. ichigo's main group of friends barely did anything but at least the other side characters had a chance to shine.

I didn't like how ichigo was only a soul Reaper for a few months and he was able to become stronger than most of the other characters that we're training for centuries.

That being said, if you want to watch avoid filler, they're a huge waste of time or better yet read the manga. It'll go by faster.

I personally really enjoyed Bleach when I watched it. That might because of the huge amount of nostalgia, but it is still worth watching. Sadly it's true, that the Aizen-arc really can't keep up in terms of quality, but that should'nt stop you from enjoying the better parts of it. Just be sure to skip the fillers.

The fights are average ,except for the important ones, the fillers are actually damn good , dosent break the story ,but adds to it ,the music is memorable,the characters are good except for some of them(who are very annoying)

Fullbringer arc is the best directed arc in the entire story,no breakups just good execution (Xcution),

The soul society is the most consistent arc

The arrancar invasion ,karakura town has some of the peak moments in the entire Story so far

Overall a good shounen

It's great in parts, tedious in others I actually only made it to ep 40 but that's probably more on me than the show.

You should definitely start it, what happens after that is your call.
